Lulu Kelly – Nursery Manager & SEN Lead

Creative SEN Champion | Passionate Leader | Parent Perspective

Lulu is the Nursery Manager at our Beckenham Junction sites and also leads on Special Educational Needs (SEN) across Bellissima Nurseries. With specialist training in autism, speech and language, and supporting children with disabilities, Lulu is passionate about early intervention and ensuring every child receives the support they need to thrive.

Since joining Bellissima in 2015, Lulu has progressed from Nursery Nurse to Pre-School Room Leader and now Nursery Manager.  Her creativity shines in the classroom—often helping with book topics, painting, and sketching alongside the children.

As a mum of two boys, Lulu brings a parent’s perspective to her work, helping families feel supported as they navigate nursery life. She was a driving force behind our ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted grading and plays an active role in all inspections.

 

Lottie Ballard – Deputy Nursery Manager

Reliable Deputy | Team Player | SEN Supporter

Lottie has been with Bellissima since 2014, starting as a newly qualified Nursery Assistant and now serving as Deputy Nursery Manager at Beckenham Junction 2.

She is an integral part of the Bellissima family, supporting her team, connecting with parents, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Lottie has gained significant managerial experience and now has a keen eye for progress and development within her role.

She also supports Lulu with SEN provision, making sure every child has the tools and guidance they need to flourish.

 

Maria Costa – Assistant Manager

Smiles All Around | Baby Room Expert | Team Motivator

Maria has been part of Bellissima since 2015, progressing from Nursery Assistant to Assistant Manager at Beckenham Junction 1. She holds a Level 5 qualification, which enriches her managerial expertise.

Maria runs our baby rooms with warmth and care, supporting both first-time parents and those feeling anxious. Always smiling and approachable, she ensures children feel safe, happy, and confident.

Maria is a natural motivator, rallying her team in day-to-day activities, meetings, and social events, making sure everyone feels supported and connected.

 

Kirsty Fowler – Team Leader & Pre-School Specialist

Pre-School Queen | Level 5 Leader | Parent & Professional Perspective

Kirsty joined Bellissima in 2015, starting as a Level 3 Nursery Nurse and working her way up to Team Leader at Beckenham Junction 2. Known as our Pre-School Queen, Kirsty brings energy, creativity, and her Level 5 qualification to lead her team with positivity and confidence.

As a mum, Kirsty brings the dual perspective of parent and professional, helping children leave Pre-School confident, curious, and ready for school, often standing out as proud “Bellissima children” in their school playgrounds.
