Meet our Beckenham Team...

Lulu Kelly

Lulu is Nursery Manager at the Beckenham Junction site, as well managing the Special Educational Needs (SEN) across Bellissima Nurseries. Lulu has varied SEN training and knowledge from autism, speech and language as well as children with disabilities.

Having joined the team in 2015 Lulu has worked her way up from Nursery Nurse, Pre School Room Leader to her current Nursery Managers role. Lulu is very creative and will always ensure that she supports all of the classes within the setting with their book topic ideas and will often be seen in classes painting and sketching.

Being a mum of two boys has broaden her insight in early years and has equipped her with skills across all age ranges. She has been able to share her parenting journey with other families at Bellissima to help support them into nursery life.

Lulu was very active in our last Ofsted inspection and opening of our second nursery at Elmers End and has shown great commitment to Bellissima.

Lottie Ballard

Lottie has been at Bellissima since we opened the doors in November 2014. She has worked her way up in the setting from a newly degree qualified Nursery Assistant to her current role as Nursery Assistant Manager at the Beckenham Junction site.

Lottie has always been an incredible staff member and is very much part of the Bellissima family. She shines everyday with her immediate team in the Toddler class, to all the nursery parents as well as being a huge support to the whole team.

Having supported Kelly and Lulu in managerial work Lottie’s confidence in dealing with day-to-day management has greatly developed and she now has a keen eye for progression within this role.

Over the last 3 years Lottie has also been helping and gaining experience in the Special Educational Needs (SEN) department and has really enjoyed getting to learn this new skill.

Maria Costa

Maria has been at Bellissima since July 2015 working her way up from a nursery assistant to her current role as Team Leader. She has studied her level 5 which has enriched her knowledge and understanding of her managerial role.

Maria is always smiling, happy to help, open and honest within all elements of her practise. Maria also runs one of our baby rooms of which she always ensures that her class and team are at the ready to support the first-time parents as well as the parents whom are worried and anxious.

She never fails to rally the team round at staff meetings, social events and day to day general support and help.

Maria continues the nursery ethos, vision, and values to encourage little hands to a bright future.
